Max Darwin has been performing his magic as The Amazing Max in NYC Off Broadway and across the country since 2011. He has been seen as a featured artist on the National Geographic Channel and magic consultant on America’s Got Talent. Prior to his April 28 performance, Max will be doing an ArtREACH residency with The Grand going out into the community and engaging with groups of people who would not otherwise normally make it to see his performance at the theater. Green Bay Sail & PaddleGreen Bay Sail & Paddle is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a passion for sailing and paddle sports among individuals 8 and older. Since 2016, they’ve served over 5,000 children, with nearly 300 benefiting from their adaptive sailing programs.
With tprograms that educate, engage and inspire people to a lifelong relationship with the great waterways in our community, Green Bay Sail & Paddle (GBSP) was established with a simple goal to help people to safely enjoy sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Their new initiative for summer 2024 - The “Adventures in Sailing” program is designed to introduce sailing to many under-served populations and individuals of varying abilities - including refugees, immigrant populations, disadvantaged, disabled and others requiring special needs with little or no cost to the participants. They offer programs such as disability education toolkits called sibsacks, summer programs for children and teens, leadership camps for teens, internships for college students and their Journey Forward program, a future planning program for adult siblings, people with disabilities, parents, and other family members and care providers.
Wisconsibs has been serving Wisconsin sisters and brothers of people with disabilities, mental health concerns, and long-term illnesses for over 25 years. Wisconsib’s announces their event Vegas Madness on April 19th at Waverly Beach Bar and Grille. Vegas Madness is an inclusive community event that runs from 6 pm to 10 pm and includes appetizers, drinks, casino games, and a raffle. Plus, the opportunity to enjoy great food provided by the Waverly Beach Bar & Grille, a cash bar, and lots of chances to win prizes. All while helping a great cause! More information at wisconsibs.org Fox Cities Book Festival is a non-profit organization that creates programs and events to support their mission of “connecting writers and readers across our diverse communities.” Their organization has hosted more than 830 authors and 1300 free community events, representing a variety of genres. The festival engages everyone from early readers to older adults and all events are open to the public. Fox Cities Book Festival collaborates with six local libraries in the overall planning of Reads.

HeadsUp Fox CitiesHeadsUp Fox Cities was created as a response to the gap in foster youth and former foster youth ages 16-24. Their organization, created and led by former foster youth, is built to remove barriers with resource navigation, individualized goal setting and personalized mentorship. The HeadsUp mission is to empower transitional age youth to break the cycle of childhood & family trauma and reduce social inequities through compassionate community engagement, support and collaboration.
The HeadsUp Personalized Path Program serves current and former foster youth ages 16-24 by removing the red tape associated with support, creating an atmosphere where youth, who may otherwise be overlooked, can access services before requiring reactive services. Programs are accessed on an asneeded basis, and HeadsUp meets participants in a safe location of their choice for comfort. Their group-based programs are rooted in three core program areas: Academic Success, Character and Leadership Development and Healthy Lifestyles. Maintaining a well trained and caring staff team, the Club provides support programs to all types of children and families in the Fond du Lac area. Our goal is to ensure that youth are able to overcome any barriers they may have to living a productive life and reaching their full potential.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac is to empower all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens through academic, social and emotional support. Tickets are available at vintageinthevalley.org St. Joe’s Food Pantry serves the food insecure in our community by providing weekly food products, free of charge, to those who need them including homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, schools and Boys and Girls clubs. Last year, they distributed 2.7 million pounds of food through their outreach programs, transfers, and internal pantry and they serve over 600 families per week at their pantry.
Now through the end of the Summer St. Joes is embarking on their first ever capital campaign project. The project will renovate St. Joe’s current building and prepare for the future by contributing to their endowment fund. UWO Fox Cities Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to support The UWO Fox Cities campus. Announcing Theatre For the Mind: An old time radio themed fundraising event on Saturday December 2nd starting at 6pm at the UWO Fox Cities campus in Menasha. Guests can step back in time to the Golden Age of Radio and watch Norman Gilliand and the Skywave Audio Players recreate a radio drama broadcast.
