The American Cancer Society is a non profit organization working to to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer. They assist those battling cancer today, those who may face a diagnosis in the future and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education, prevention, early detection and patient programs.
The American Cancer Society presents Pulling Together for a Cure taking place June 1st from 10:30am to 5pm at Austin Straubel Airport, 2077 Airport Drive in Green Bay WI. The event has teams pulling together to move a 94,000 pound fire truck 24 feet in the fastest time, proving that when we work together we are stronger than cancer.
Groups are invited to start a Pull Team. There will be live music all day and singers will compete in The Voice of Hope singing competition. There will also be a petting zoo, a kids’ area, photo booth, basket drawings, food from the 30’ Delta “Airplane” Grill and food trucks and beverages from local breweries. Attendees are invited to come out, start a pull team or just relax and enjoy the fun.
