– New Website Connects Volunteers with Board Opportunities

Nonprofit Leadership Initiative has a mission to provide Fox Valley nonprofits with opportunities for leadership development and learning to better achieve their missions.

The Non profit Leadership initiative would like to spotlight the Board Connect program. Board Connect is an online platform which allows local nonprofits to post their board and committee opportunities for free to a broad audience of interested community members. Employers also use the site to refer their staff interested in giving back to their community or volunteering.

There are currently 83 agencies and 63 open board or committee postings on Board Connect.
The need for nonprofit board, committee and task force members is ongoing.
