Friends of Appleton Public Library is an independent nonprofit dedicated to enhancing library resources and programming. Public funding alone can't meet all the community's needs, so they step in to bridge the gap. Through their fundraising efforts, they've brought enriching programs to all ages, from Summer Library Programs to Teen Tuesdays and adult workshops like Find Your Ancestors. They also host vibrant events like the Fox Cities Book Festival and the Hmong American Day Celebration. Currently, they're leading the Building Beyond Words Capital Campaign to expand and renovate the library at 225 N. Oneida Street. With $10.9 million raised, they're close to their $12 million goal. Join them in shaping the future of the library. Visit friendsofapl.org for more information. Comments are closed.
