The Board on Aging and Long Term Careis a non-profit organization working to protect the rights of elderly people 60 and over residing in long term care facilities. The Board on Aging and Long Term Care Volunteer Ombudsman Program works to protect the rights of the elderly, listen and talk with resident's living in long term care facilities, empower residents and family members to speak up, voice concerns for resident's who can't speak for themselves, observe general conditions of the nursing home.
