The Grand Oshkosh presents The Hunts, Friday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m.The Hunts are an indie-alternative-folk band comprised of seven brothers and sisters. Born and raised in the south lands of Chesapeake, Virginia, the siblings grew up in a musical home and fell in love with composing their own music. As small children, they played The Grand in a group fronted by their parents, known as the Hunt Family Fiddlers. A decade later, they will return with a unique sound all their own. The Hunts have opened for world renown bands such as The Fray, X-Ambassadors, Judah and the Lion, and O.A.R.

The Grand Oshkosh is a non-profit organization that hosts nearly 100 public performances each year including national touring artists, educational programs, performances by the Oshkosh Community Players, Hysterical Productions and Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra as well as performances by area high schools and regional arts groups.Their mission is to serve the community by promoting and enhancing the performing arts through entertainment and education. |
